What is the Teasdale Healthcare Homecare service?

We offer a custom package of care to meet your care needs and wishes, to help and support you to carry on living as independently as you like to, in your own home. Our Care Workers visit you throughout the day, at your agreed times, to provide this support. Our Care Workers are expertly trained and mentored, so you can be assured they will meet your requirements.

What support can your Care Workers provide; what can they help me with?

Our dedicated team of Care Workers can support you with almost all elements of your care needs, we can supprt with as little or as much as you like to make sure your personal independence and dignity is completely maintained.

We provide support with personal care and hygiene, such as:

Washing, bathing, showering, strip washes, shaving, oral care and denture support, application of medicated creams, assistance with using the toilet or a commode, incontinence care, skin integrity care, stoma care, catheter care, dressing and undressing support, whilst respecting your privacy and dignity throughout.

We provide support with your meals, drinks and medications, such as:

Support with meal and drink preparation and specialist nutritional and dietary requirements, assistance with eating and/or feeding where this is required, full administration of medications or a little extra help for you to administer your medications safely.

Our Care Workers also support you with the following areas of everyday living, making sure you are safe getting around your own home, including:

Getting in and out of bed, support standing and sitting, help with walking and getting around your home, all areas of assistance with your mobility, including the use of aids such as hoists, stand aids, feames and other equipment, support with transfers where needed for your safety, minimise any risk of falls, falls prevention support, stairlift use and assistance.

Do you support palliative / end-of-life care needs?

Yes, we do. We have a devout team of Care Workers who provide a dedicated, holistic wrap-around care service for those who need that little extra with their end-of-life and palliative care journey. We have a dedicated team and we work in conjunction with families and all relevant health and medical care professionals in this most rewarding area of care provision.

Do you have a minimum visit duration, and will I receive the same Care Workers?

Our minimum visit duration is 30 minutes for each visit; our weekly hours requirement for a care package is a minimum of 7 hours per week.

Continuity of care is a firm belief of our Company; you will have regular and consistent Care Workers who will provide your care, so they can get to know you and your routines; delivering your care how you like.

In cases where you would like us to provide care for both you and a loved one or your family members, such as Mum and Dad, we are more than accommodating. One of our experienced office staff members will listen to all your needs and requests and take it from there with the next steps in setting your care up, and arranging to come and meet you for your initial care planning discussion.
